i hate it when people throw dirt on peoples work, but i believe this is not quite correct the larger image shown is not a truss it does have a truss like shape with rafters, struts, ridge board and tie beam. a Queen type truss has top chords webs and bottom chords these members are fixed in a manner that tension and compression actions are transferred at the joints to the heel supports.
