Derivation for How Much CFT in one Bag Cement

This construction video tutorial shows the detailed process for derivation for how much CFT in one bag cement.

How 1 bag of cement = 1.226 CFT or cubic feet
As you know density of cement = 1440 kg/m3

For 1 m3, cement required is 1440 kg
As we know that weight of 1 bag of cement is 50 kg
For 1m3, cement required = 1440/50 = 28.8 bags

We know that 1m3 = 35.3147 CFT or cubic feet
Or 28.8 bags = 35.3147 CFT

Therefore, for 1 bag = 35.3147/28.8 = 1.226 CFT
